... in aid of WINSTON's WISH

Kirsten and Nicola have decided to take part in the Great North Run, a world-famous Half-Marathon around hilly Newcastle on 19th September 2010. We are training hard and every single step we take is in aid of Winston's Wish - an amazing charity which helps bereaved children and their families through the most difficult of times.
We are hoping to raise in excess of £2000 - and we need your help!
We have organised 4 exciting fundraising events, and we hope that you would like to join us for one, two, three or all of them!
1) PARTY, PRESENT AND PAMPER FAIR
All of life's lovely things! Treat yourself whilst raising money in aid of Winston's Wish.
Visit our FAIR to see an amazing array of small local businesses exhibiting their products and services. There will be a great selection of beautiful gifts and cards for all occasions, including unique Father's Day and teachers' end of year presents. Shop around for anything you might need for children's parties, stock up on homewares or enjoy a beauty treatment on-site. Storytelling and other children's activities will take place at different times throughout the morning. The ticket price includes a hot drink and a piece of home-baked cake, so why not bring a friend or two for a coffee morning with a twist?!

2) FILM EVENING
Join us in the theatre of the beautiful Trestle Arts Base for a showing of cult film THE COMMITMENTS!
We are also holding a RAFFLE during the evening and would like to take this opportunity to thank all those generous donors for their amazing raffle prizes. Current prizes (donor in brackets) include:

Your film evening ticket price not only includes the film showing but also a glass of bubbly on arrival and nibbles during the interval, so please come and join us for what is bound to be a great night out!

3) PAMPER EVENING
Join us for an evening of beauty and bliss amongst friends. We have hired a lovely local venue where you will be able to enjoy a drink whilst catching up with friends and then having your treatment in a seperate beauty room. Our trained therapists will be on hand to offer you a selection of treatments, ranging from facials, massages and pedicures to reflexology and eyebrow shaping.

Ticket price: £30, which includes a 30 minute treatment as well as drinks, refreshments and a goody bag.

4) END OF YEAR PARTY
We will have almost made it to the end of the (school) year, so what better reason to have a huge party with all our friends?!
Join us for some great live music by local band WAITING FOR KATHERINE who have made a name for themselves locally and world-wide via Youtube. There will also be a disco, so dust off your dancing shoes and join in the fun. Best of all, we have managed to negotiate a deal which will allow you to bring your own drinks - so grab some bottles, some glasses and lots of friends and head on down to our end of year party!

Ticket price: £10, including live entertainment and disco.
Tickets are only available in advance as we have a limit of 100.
This is a strictly adults only event! For health and safety reasons you MUST provide your ticket to gain entry.
